Game Server Features

Every RespawnHost game server comes with a full set of management tools accessible directly from your browser. No SSH knowledge or third-party software is required.

Console

The real-time console gives you direct access to your server’s output and command line. Watch live logs, send commands, and see player activity as it happens. The console uses a WebSocket connection for instant feedback with no page refreshing. All server logs are automatically stored and retained for 30 days.

File Manager

Browse, edit, upload, and download files directly in the panel. The built-in file manager supports text editing with syntax highlighting for .yml, .json, .properties and more, drag-and-drop uploads, and folder management. For bulk transfers, SFTP access is also available.

SFTP Access

Every server includes SFTP credentials for secure file transfers using external tools like FileZilla or WinSCP. The credentials are shown directly on the Overview page of your server in the right sidebar — including host, port, username, and password. SFTP is the fastest way to upload large files such as world saves or mod packs.

Backups

Create manual backups with a single click or enable automatic backups directly in the Backups tab. Each server has 5 free backup slots. Backups are never automatically deleted.

Tasks (Schedules)

Automate recurring actions with the built-in task system:

• Start or stop the server at specific times
• Set up automatic restarts
• Run custom commands on a schedule

Modpack Installer

For many games, we offer an integrated modpack browser. Install modpacks from CurseForge, Modrinth, or FTB with a single click — either during server ordering or later in the panel. Supported modpacks include All the Mods, RLCraft, SkyFactory, Pixelmon, and many more.

Steam Workshop

For supported games (DayZ, Unturned, ARK, and others), you can download Steam Workshop content directly in the panel. Enter the Workshop ID and the content is installed automatically.

Server Templates and Versions

Choose from 15+ server templates at creation: Paper, Spigot, Vanilla, Forge, Fabric, NeoForge, Purpur, BungeeCord, Velocity, Waterfall, Folia, Bedrock, Geyser, PocketMine, and more. You can also select your desired game version and Java version (8, 11, 17, 21) and change them at any time.

Resource Monitoring

The server overview page shows live charts for your server’s current resource usage:

• CPU — processor utilization
• Memory — RAM consumption
• Disk — used and available SSD storage

Upgrade and Downgrade

Adjust RAM at any time in real-time — without data loss and without changing your IP. World, mods, and configuration remain intact. New resources are available immediately after a restart.

User Permissions

Grant other users access to your server. Manage permissions for co-admins or team members — you decide who can do what.

Automatic Updates

Our system automatically checks for new game versions. Install updates with one click in the dashboard. An automatic backup is created before every update.

Inactivity Protection

If your server is inactive for 30 days, we automatically convert it into a free backup. You never lose data and can start again at any time.
