What is Fitnacraft?

Fitnacraft is an annual German Minecraft project hosted by Twitch streamer Rohat (xRohat). Invited creators share one server, and conflict between them is explicitly allowed. Provocation, faction building, PvP and drama are part of the format. Every participant streams their own perspective live on Twitch. There is no central broadcast, just dozens of parallel viewpoints on the same events.

Where these details come from

Fitnacraft has no official project website and no published rulebook. Everything in this article comes from the participating streamers' own announcements, community trackers and German gaming coverage. Last checked: 1 September 2026. Unconfirmed points are marked in the text.

What does the name Fitnacraft mean?

The name has two parts. Fitna is an Arabic term meaning discord, unrest, division or severe trial. In German youth and streaming slang, “Fitna machen” is used for stirring up trouble. Craft refers to Minecraft.

That describes the format fairly precisely. What matters here is the social conflict that erupts when two dozen streamers with different goals land on the same map.

How does Fitnacraft work?

  1. Invitations and announcements. Rohat invites the streamers. The line-up is not published in one go but revealed gradually over several weeks, which reliably produces leaks and speculation.
  2. Launch event. Everyone logs in at the same time and starts from nothing. Launch night is traditionally the season’s peak viewership moment.
  3. Build-up phase. Bases appear, usually in groups. Neighbourhoods turn into alliances, alliances into factions with their own territories, currencies and trading posts.
  4. Escalation. Theft, elaborate trolling, PvP feuds, betrayal. That is where the content comes from, because every incident has at least two perspectives.
  5. End of season. The project runs for several weeks. There is no win condition, so no winner in the classic sense.

Fitnacraft and Craft Attack: the differences

AspectFitnacraftCraft Attack
Core attitudeConflict is wantedCooperation comes first
Age of the formatSince roughly 2023Much older, established for years
PvPCentral elementHeavily restricted or banned
Griefing and trollingAllowed within limits, drives the storyGenerally unwanted

Both projects often sit close together in the calendar, which has caused friction. When Fitnacraft 2024 launched shortly after Craft Attack 12 and several streamers switched over, parts of the community saw it as unfair to the older format.

Who is Rohat?

Rohat streams on Twitch as xRohat and is the driving force behind Fitnacraft. He invites the participants, sets each season’s framework and rules, and settles disputes when things go too far. Since he plays alongside everyone else, he is organiser, referee and competitor in one person. That too causes regular debate.

The main reason is the number of perspectives. Viewers hop between channels and see the same incident from several angles, often described in completely opposite ways. On top of that, the losses are real: stolen items and destroyed builds do not come back, so tension needs no script.

The barrier to entry is low because practically everyone knows Minecraft. And escalations work so well as short clips on TikTok, YouTube Shorts and X that the project reaches far beyond its Twitch audience every year.

Can I join Fitnacraft?

No. Fitnacraft is a closed, whitelisted project, and you play only if you are invited. There is no application process and no server IP to join. If you want to play the format yourself, you run it with your own community on your own server. How to do that is covered in Create a Fitnacraft server.

What RespawnHost sees

Formats like Fitnacraft have shifted demand for private Minecraft servers in Germany. What people ask for today are small whitelisted project servers for 10 to 30 people, with PvP enabled and proximity voice chat. The key requirement is a launch night without lag when everyone joins at once. Demand picks up reliably before the autumn season start. Anyone planning such a project should set the server up one or two weeks ahead and test it once with the full group.
