Dedicated servers since update 0.11
RuneScape Dragonwilds launched into Early Access on April 15, 2025 — initially as P2P co-op for 1–4 players in Ashenfall. Since update 0.11 “Dowdun Reach” (March 31, 2026) there are official dedicated servers, raising the limit to 6 players. Until the 1.0 release, servers are PC-only.
Note
The 6-player cap is fixed — it cannot be raised via configuration; only Jagex itself can change it.
1.0 arrives on September 15, 2026
With the 1.0 release on September 15, 2026, Dragonwilds launches on PC (Steam + Epic), PS5, Xbox and Switch 2 — with crossplay. It includes the “Scorned Wilderness” and the summer expansion “Umbral Sands”. All details in the 1.0 article.
