Arma Reforger Server Hosting

Crossplay is enabled by default as Arma Reforger uses the same server infrastructure on PC and Xbox. You must ensure that no PC-exclusive mods are installed if Xbox players are to join.

Mods are defined via the server config (`config.json`). You enter the Mod IDs and versions there. At startup, the server automatically downloads the mods from the Workshop.

You can set an admin password in the config. In the game, you can then log in as admin and have access to the Game Master Interface (similar to Zeus in Arma 3) to spawn units, change weather, etc.

For small scenarios or Game Master sessions, 6 GB RAM is sufficient. For Conflict mode with many players and AI, we recommend 8 GB or more, as the Enfusion Engine and AI can use a lot of memory.

Yes, you can load Custom Scenarios from the Workshop or create your own missions and upload them to the server. You then have to adjust the `scenarioId` in the config.

Simply restart the server in the panel. Our system checks for updates for the game and installed mods and updates them automatically.

Arma Reforger uses a new RCON protocol. There are tools that support this. You can activate RCON in the config and set a password and port.

The main configuration is in a JSON file (usually `config.json` or similar), which you can edit via our Config Editor or directly via file manager.

Yes, we often offer the Experimental Branch as well. You can switch between Stable and Experimental in the panel (Note: Savegames are often not compatible).

Technically, up to 64 or more players are possible, but for stable performance in Conflict mode, we often recommend 32-48 players, depending on hardware equipment.

Conflict is the standard game mode where two factions (US and Soviets) fight for control of the island, build bases, and deliver supplies.

Yes, in the scenario settings or via Game Master you can influence how much AI is spawned. Note that a lot of AI costs a lot of CPU power.

Each backup captures the full server state: world, scenarios, mods and configuration. The first backup per month is free, additional ones start at €0.10/month depending on package and size. Manual backups can be triggered anytime, while automatic backups are opt-in and run at intervals you choose.
