Alchemy Factory Server Hosting: a Dedicated Server for Your Co-op
In Alchemy Factory you start with a small workshop and turn it into a factory where conveyor belts, pipes and magic do the work. Eventually you're making potions, jewellery and relics, fulfilling orders and running a shop with its own customers. Version 1.0 added a multiplayer lobby, join codes and an official dedicated server. With a server of your own, your shared factory no longer depends on one player's PC.
Why rent an Alchemy Factory server from RespawnHost?
In regular co-op, one player hosts the world. If they're offline, nobody else can get to the factory either. On a rented server the save lives in one central place, and anyone in the group can jump in whenever it suits them. The server app is small at around 413 MB, doesn't need a second copy of the game and runs on our side without any port forwarding on your router.
You set the ServerConfig.ini settings in the panel under Server → Settings → Startup variables instead of maintaining a text file by hand: server name, player count, passwords, autosave mode and more. On top of that you get automatic backups, DDoS protection and full SFTP access to saves and logs.
Updates: server and game have to match
After an Alchemy Factory patch, an outdated server rejects players with an "invalid version" message. On our side the server checks for a new version on every start and installs it. So after a game update, a restart is all it takes.
