Installing Oxide is super easy with us. In your server dashboard, you will find a switch for Oxide/uMod under 'Mods' or 'Versions'. One click is enough, and the server automatically installs the necessary files at the next restart.

Connect to your server. Then open the console in our web interface and enter the command 'ownerid YOURSTEAM64_ID'. After that, you have to reconnect once (relog), and you have full admin rights.

You have full control over wipes. You can wipe your server manually at any time (Map and/or Blueprints) by deleting the corresponding files in the file manager or using our wipe tools. For the monthly Force Wipes from Facepunch, we offer updates as soon as they are available.

Yes! You can use any map. Simply upload the .map file via SFTP and enter the link or filename in your server configuration. We support maps from RustEdit and other sources.

Rust is very RAM intensive. For a small Vanilla server, we recommend at least 8 GB RAM. If you use many plugins or have a very large map (4000+), you should consider 12 GB or 16 GB RAM to ensure smooth performance.

Not automatically. In Rust, map data and player data (Blueprints) are stored separately. You can decide whether you want to wipe only the map (Map Wipe) or also the learned recipes of the players (Full Wipe / Blueprint Wipe).

In the startup settings of your server in our panel, you can easily enter the values for 'World Size' (e.g., 3000, 4000) and 'World Seed' (random number). After a restart, the new world is generated.

Yes, absolutely. Rust servers are often targets of attacks. Our permanent DDoS protection filters out harmful traffic so your server remains accessible to legitimate players even during an attack.

Yes, we provide you with all necessary RCON data (IP, Port, Password). You can connect with any common RCON tool like RustAdmin (Desktop or Web) to manage your server comfortably.

Rust receives monthly updates (every first Thursday). Our system automatically detects new updates. You only have to restart your server once to install the update.

For many servers, yes! If you have a private server for friends that doesn't need to run 24/7, you save massive costs. For public servers that should be accessible around the clock, you simply pay the monthly cap amount - so you have no risk.

After you have installed Oxide, you will find a folder 'oxide/plugins' in the file manager. There you simply upload the .cs files of your plugins. The server usually loads them even without a restart (Hotload).

Yes, our servers are fully compatible with the Rust+ Companion App. You just have to release the port in the config and pair the app with your server.
