Palworld is extremely RAM hungry. For small groups (2-4 players) we recommend at least 8 GB RAM. For larger groups or if you explore a lot, 12 GB, 16 GB or even more are strongly recommended to avoid crashes and lags.

By default, our dedicated servers support up to 32 players simultaneously. This is significantly more than in normal co-op mode (4 players).

Yes, you have full access to the `PalWorldSettings.ini`. You can adjust XP multipliers, catch rates, item drops, stamina consumption, egg incubation time, and much more to your liking.

Yes, that is possible, but requires some manual work as player IDs are handled differently on dedicated servers. There are tools in the community that help with this. You can upload the world files via SFTP.

Currently (as of now), Steam version and Xbox/Gamepass version are not compatible for dedicated servers. Our servers are primarily designed for the Steam version. Crossplay is planned by the developers but not yet fully implemented.

We recommend regular automatic restarts (e.g., every 4-6 hours) as Palworld still has problems with memory leaks. This means the RAM fills up over time. A restart clears the RAM and ensures smooth performance.

You must set an admin password in the config. In the game, you can then enter the command `/AdminPassword YOURPASSWORD` in the chat to receive admin rights.

Palworld does not officially have mod support yet, but there are already mods (e.g., UE4SS based mods). These can be installed manually via SFTP. Note that client and server often need the same mods.

Guilds work on dedicated servers exactly like in co-op. You can join forces, share bases, and catch Pals together.
